This one hour webinar will provide a basic introduction to the Brussels II Regulation. First it will explain the background, scope and regulatory choices of the instrument with a view to cross border parental responsibility cases. Secondly, it will give an overview of the jurisdictional rules that the regulation sets forth. Thirdly, it will explain the material scope of the regulation and finally, it will discuss the recognition and enforcement rules of the instrument.
