This one hour webinar will provide a basic introduction to the Maintenance Regulation.
First, it will give an overview on how does the Maintenance Regulation complement the 2007 Hague Convention on the International Recovery of Child Support and Other Forms of Family Maintenance.
Secondly, it will explain the functioning of the Regulation with respect to the jurisdiction, recognition and enforcement.
Thirdly, it will explain the relevance of the 2009 Hague Protocol on applicable law and
finally, it will discuss the cooperation between EU central authorities.
