Partners

The partnership has been developed to combine: a) practical experience of managing EU-funded projects with multiple partners in different Member States, excellent networks with target groups, and b) expertise on issues of criminal justice systems and procedural rights and partners from a cross-section of jurisdictions representing the varying states of play.

EIPA Luxembourg – European Centre for Judges and Lawyers (ECJL) has near to thirty years of experience in providing legal training for various target groups. It has been particularly active in the field of judicial cooperation in criminal matters and has carried out a number of various activities.

The National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution (Krajowa Szkola Sądownictwa i Prokuratury – KSSIP) established in 2009, is the only central institution responsible for initial and continuous training of the judiciary and prosecution staff in Poland. The International Cooperation Department of KSSIP provides professional training for judges and prosecutors at international level in the context of bilateral and multilateral cooperation agreements signed with the authorities of legal training institutions across Europe.

Unionea Nationala a Barourilor din Romania (UNBR)/The National Association of the Romanian Bars is the umbrella body of all bars in Romania. The National Association of the Romanian Bars – U.N.B.R. is made up of all Romanian bars and is headquartered in the capital of the country, Bucharest. U.N.B.R. is a legal person of public interest.

Within UNBR, the National Institute for Training and the Improvement of Lawyers (I.N.P.P.A.) is organised and functioning, providing training for lawyers—both for the trainee lawyers (initial training) as for the fully qualified lawyers (continuous training).
